The What If factor

What if I can't make most of my dreams come to a reality? What if I get in the lurch in this so called race of life? What if I cannot take the most important decisions of my life and let my dreams die? What if I cannot make my parents feel proud that he/she is my son/daughter? What if I get drowned in the pools of pessimism? And what if I cannot come out of this vicious circle of Uncertainties of Life?

I bet the aforementioned or similar bunch of questions have hammered everybody's mind constantly once, twice or thrice in a life time period. And seeking the answers to these questions and taking the right decisions makes one Legend. Yes! this takes time. Because Rome was not built on a day. :)

The FEAR

However, most of us are stuck by the 'What If' fear. And that fear within us regarding those uncertainties leads us to take some decisions in haste.
The Result: We get surrounded by lots of troubles and miseries and regrets. And we start questioning our worth, we question our endowments. That's where fear comes into play again. Then inaction and passivity becomes hero in our life and we conclude that this is the end. I can do no further! and the cycle of uncertainty goes on.

FACT

As Sadhguru says," The way life happens is first being, then doing and then having." And the reason we're having the 'What if' fear is we're focused on having first.
As for example: If a person named A says he dreams to be a speaker and if he focuses on how can he have fame and money first, then he fails miserably. Then he starts questioning his dreams, his endowments and ends up doing nothing.
Instead, if he focuses on being i.e. on what should he learn to make his speaking skills better and work on that. Then, we all know what the result is. He may take time but gradually he becomes marvelous!

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act.The rest is merely tenacity. The fear are paper tigers. You can do anything YOU decide to do. You can act to change and control over life; and the procedure, the process is it own reward" ~ Amelia Earhart

So, for the fear: Let's not focus on having, instead the real essence of life is on being, learning and living after all. Because there are no places to fear. :)
